Patient Services

 

The Les Turner ALS Foundation patient service programs help patients and their loved ones cope with the day-to-day difficulties of living with chronic disease. Patients and their families are served through:

• Lois Insolia ALS Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago

• Home Care and Community Services Team, comprised of three ALS nurse consultants and a social worker

• Support groups for patients, families and caregivers led by experienced professionals

• Communication and durable medical equipment loan banks

• Ralph Russo Patient and Family Services Grant Program

• Respite Grant Program

• Resource guide

• Stuart Rosen ALS Transportation Program

• Education videos and programs

• Personal telephone and e-mail support and referral
