Les Turner ALS Events

Family & Community Events

The Family and Community Events program is a vital part of the Foundation’s success. Families and friends organize events or host online drives to give back for services they received, to make a difference in the fight against ALS and to honor those we have lost too soon.

On average, more than 30 events and online fundraisers are hosted by family event organizers each  year to benefit the Foundation, funding patient care to the vast majority of all Chicagoland area ALS patients and groundbreaking research at the Les Turner ALS Research and Patient Center at Northwestern Medicine.

Not sure what type of event to start organization?  The possibilities are endless, but here is a list of a few  Family & Community Events that have been held on behalf of the Foundation:

  • Holiday online drive
  • Birthday gift online fundraiser
  • Wedding registry
  • Sports Outing
  • Concert
  • Denim Day at the Office
  • Pub Crawl or Cocktail Hour
