Lou Gehrig Day at Wrigley Field

cubs.jpgFor 18 years, the Foundation has teamed up with the Chicago Cubs to celebrate Lou Gehrig Day. This exciting day starts with a pre-party featuring a full menu of food and drink, a live auction, door prizes, a raffle, commemorative t-shirts, and appearances by foundation spokespeople such as WXRT DJ Lin Brehmer, author Jonathan Eig, and 1985 Chicago Bears Superbowl winner Keith Van Horne. The party then moves to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game.

Join us on July 14 for our 2012 Lou Gehrig Day at Wrigley Field. Come celebrate a new chapter in the Cubs organization with one of your favorite old traditions!  

  • Back to the Vic! The pre-party will be held at The Vic Theatre (3145 N. Sheffield Ave).
  • The pre-party will have a later start time than in recent years. The party will run from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.
  • As always, your ticket price includes unlimited food and drink during the entire pre-party.
  • The pre-party also features an exciting live auction emceed by WXRT's Lin Brehmer, and a few other surprises.
  • Just announced: the pre-party will also feature a live acoustic performance by Dan Navarro of Lowen and Navarro!
  • 3:05pm gametime at Wrigley Field: Cubs vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
