The March of Faces Banner is a pictorial display of the courageous women and men—both past and present—stricken with ALS. Kyle Hahn, an ALS patient, conceived the March of Faces Banner in July 1997. Although Kyle lost his battle with ALS in 2003, the March of Faces continues as an advocacy and awareness tool.
The Foundation maintains a community banner of PALS (persons with ALS) from the Chicagoland area and it is displayed at special events throughout the year. It is used to heighten public awareness, raise funds for patient services and research, as well as advocate on issues that benefit PALS and their families.
