About the Show:

Maureen Muldoon and Paul McComas perform Paul’s propulsive adaptation of “Fool for Love”, Chicago-born master dramatist Sam Shepard’s most riveting play. The story of sparring star-crossed lovers “May & Eddie” — a southern spitfire and a brash cowboy who share a mysterious connection — is one of the most compelling and unexpectedly passionate dramas you’ll ever witness.

Joined by guitarist Don Gibson, Maureen and Paul introduce the 45-minute one-act with a set of Western songs of love and longing.

The 75-minute show honors the late Shepard in this, his Diamond Jubilee Year (75 years after his birth), and benefits the Les Turner ALS Foundation, which works to combat the dread disease that felled the playwright two years ago.
