20th Anniversary Lew Blond Run

The Lew Blond Memorial 5K Run/Walk is held to honor Lew Blond, a Maple School teacher who passed away from ALS in February 2000.

Since then, the Lew Blond Memorial 5K Run/Walk has been a generous Fundraise Your Way event and supporter of those affected by ALS. The event attracts thousands of participants and volunteers and proves to be one of Northbrook’s signature community events!
