Donor Spotlight: Walter Boughton Foundation

Mark HeidenDonor Spotlights

As we begin to close out 2021, we want to thank you for your steadfast commitment in helping us live out our vision of creating a world free of ALS. With your continued support, you help make what we do possible.

Helping us kick-off our first end of year donation challenge, the Walter Boughton Foundation will match all end of year donations dollar for dollar, up to $50,000!

Although Walter Boughton lost his battle with ALS in 1993, his memory and legacy live on through the efforts of his granddaughters, Kathryn and Lauren Maly. Because of them and Walter’s friends, family and former business associates, the Walter Boughton Foundation has contributed over $600,000 to the Les Turner ALS Foundation.

In honor of their grandfather’s legacy, Kathryn and Lauren established the Walter Boughton Foundation Support Services Grant Program – a testament to their long-term commitment and devotion to the ALS community. This program offers financial awards to people with ALS to help defray the cost of equipment and home modifications.

To sustain Lauren and Kathryn’s efforts, make your donation today and double your impact. Thank you for your support and thank you Walter Boughton Foundation!
