Celebrating Lou Gehrig Day on June 2 & 3

You may have heard the news that June 2 &3  have officially been designated “Lou Gehrig Day” by Major League Baseball.

The new, annual, league-wide event will be celebrated at ballparks across the country to honor the legacy of  the “Iron Horse” as well as raise awareness and funds for ALS.

To commemorate the occasion, please join us for a very special online discussion on June 2 with two longtime friends of the Les Turner ALS Foundation: Jonathan Eig, acclaimed New York Times best selling author of ‘Luckiest Man: The Life and Death of Lou Gehrig,’ and Lin Brehmer, renowned Chicago DJ and radio personality, and current host of WXRT’s midday show and lifelong baseball fan.
