New ALS Research Laboratory – The Les Turner ALS Research and Patient Center will add a fourth lab to support the research of the Center Director, Robert Kalb, MD. The lab will focus on activity-dependent development of circuits in the central nervous system and healthful compensatory responses of cells and organisms to stressful conditions.

New Clinic Location – The Lois Insolia ALS Clinic is moving to an improved location to better accommodate people living with ALS. The new facility is located in the Lavin Pavilion 259 E. Erie on the 19th floor. All clinic visits will take place at this new location starting the week of January 15.

Virtual Support Groups – People living with ALS will now have the option to participate in support groups from the comfort of their own homes! Support groups will broadcast via video conference to ensure people living with ALS and their loved ones receive the information they need without the stress of travel. The first virtual support group will launch in Barrington this month. Note: virtual support groups will be approved on a case-by-case basis, as this is a new program. Please contact info@lesturnerals.org if you are interested.
