Be a Giver for #GivingTuesdayNow

Today is #GivingTuesdayNow, a new global day of giving as an emergency response to the unprecedented impact of COVID-19.

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we paused all in-person Support Service Team visits and quickly pivoted to providing support via televisits, shown here by one of our ALS Support Service Coordinators, Karen Steffens, RN, CHPH, CCM.

We’re calling on you, our Les Turner ALS family, to be a part of #GivingTuesdayNow and make a donation to support our Chicagoland ALS community through this crisis. Be a Giver and donate today>>

ALS Community Resources

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from this COVID-19 pandemic, it’s that we are all in this together.

Our greater ALS community has taken that message to heart so that we can all continue to support people and families living with ALS during this time.

We have added a new section to our COVID-19: Information and Updates page featuring ALS Community Resources. Found by scrolling to the middle of the page, the section currently includes initiatives from seven different ALS organizations with more to come as new resources are shared. A Steadfast Community Partner

First Bank Chicago, a division of First Bank of Highland Park, has long been our partner in supporting our Chicagoland ALS community.

From sponsoring and attending our annual special events, to a deep understanding of our needs and the flexibility to be responsive, there are many joys in working with a community bank.

“During these difficult times, we applaud the efforts of the Les Turner ALS Foundation and their commitment to provide exceptional care and support services to people living with ALS,” shares Eric Ephraim, President and COO.

First Bank Chicago has been our steady partner in good times and in bad. They understand that while much of the world is on pause, ALS doesn’t stop and neither will we. Learn more about our local community bank>>
