Webinar: Securing Your Family’s Financial Future

Although navigating the everyday challenges of ALS can make it difficult to think about things outside of treatment and care, focusing on your values and planning ahead is a powerful gift to yourself and your family.

Join us this Thursday, May 12 from 12 – 1:30PM (CT) for our next ALS Learning Series webinar, Financial and Estate Planning for the ALS Community. This webinar will guide people living with ALS and their loved ones through easy-to-understand, actionable steps for securing their financial future.

Speakers include Terry Savage, a nationally recognized expert and speaker on personal finance, who lost her friend and colleague Michael Falk to ALS in 2021; and Kerry R. Peck, JD, an award winning attorney and managing partner at Peck Ritchey, LLC, whose practice is focused on elder law and estate planning.
We are proud to offer this webinar at no cost to the ALS community. Thank you to Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma America and Cytokinetics for their sponsorship.

More Than a Team, More Than a Race

Those who join Team Race for ALS all have one thing in common: raising awareness about ALS. Most, if not all, participants are connected to the disease and have found that joining the team is their way of giving back.

Dominick Campanile, who will run in memory of his grandfather, says, “My grandfather had a lengthy battle with ALS. The Les Turner ALS Foundation provided him and my grandmother with an amazing support system through their fight. This is the first of many contributions I hope to make to this wonderful organization for years to come.”

Read Dominick’s full story in this month’s Faces of ALS. In the meantime, help us root for Team Race for ALS!

P.S. Only a few slots remain and the registration deadline is May 31. Contact Kim Kempf for more information!
