On Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, the ALS community will come together at Soldier Field in Chicago for the largest ALS gathering in the Midwest: the Les Turner ALS Foundation’s ALS Walk for Life.
We’ll walk to honor family and friends who are living with ALS, remember those we have lost, and raise funds for ALS care and research. This year, we’ll also welcome a very special guest.
Pope Leo XIV will deliver a video message of love, hope, and compassion at the ALS Walk for Life. His address will be part of the opening ceremony, which starts at 10 a.m.
Following the Pope’s address, we’ll set out on a two-mile stroll along Chicago’s lakefront, finishing with a trip through the home of the Chicago Bears. There will be live entertainment, food trucks, kids’ activities, and much more.
Invite a friend to join you for the event. Post a message on social media asking for a donation in honor of the person you love. And on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Soldier Field in Chicago, you’ll be part of an unforgettable experience.
Join Pope Leo XIV and the ALS community as we walk for a world free of ALS.
