We asked you to vote on this year’s shirt design, and you answered.
You can earn this year’s t-shirt if you raise $100 to your personal fundraising page.
Team totals will not be eligible for the t-shirt or other fundraising incentive prizes.
Walker Spotlight: Diana Pisone
Diana Pisone participated in the Foundation’s first ALS Walk for Life in 2001 in honor of her father, Rich Pisone. Since then, she and Rich’s Rockers have walked every year to raise money for ALS research, awareness, patient care, and advocacy.
When asked her advice to other Walkers for fundraising, she said:
“Because I’m a nerd and I like numbers, I like to tie donation requests to a significant number. On the 20th anniversary of my father’s passing, I suggested donations in denominations of $20. I actually received a good amount of $200 donations that year.”

Through your participant center, you can send emails using one of our many pre-written email templates to ask for donations, ask people to join your team, and more.
In your participant center, you can also keep track of who you’ve emailed, who has donated, and who you’ve thanked all in one place.
The August Matching Challenge Ended in Seven Days!
Just like that, our August matching challenge is complete! The funds were matched in record time! All donations made between August 7-13 at 10:00 a.m. were matched by the Haarlow Family Charitable Foundation, up to $2,000 per team.

Reserve Your Accessible Parking Spot
We will be blocking off accessible parking spaces in the Waldron garage for people with ALS. Please let me know if you would like to reserve one or more of these spaces by September 7th.

Volunteers Needed!
We need your help distributing flyers for the ALS Walk for Life!
We will mail you the flyers, and you can put them up in your community wherever there is a public bulletin, like your favorite coffee shop, library, or gym.
