Your community came together for one of the most successful Walks ever

What a day it was! Because of you, we’ve raised more than $1,000,000 and counting. The 2026 ALS Walk for Life brought nearly 3,000 walkers together at Soldier Field — 221 teams strong — to honor loved ones we’ve lost and raise money and awareness for everyone living with ALS.

Every step mattered. Every dollar fuels comprehensive care for people living with ALS and their families, plus the research that will bring us a world free of ALS.

The full set of Walk photos is now available on our Flickr account — take a look and relive the day.

Thank you for walking with us.

Fundraising continues through the end of the year. If you’d like to make a donation, there’s still time to add your impact.

Join us for the next ALS Learning Series webinar, The Caregiver’s Journey on Thursday, November 19 at 12 pm CT. In honor of National Family Caregivers Month, this panel brings together current and former caregivers — Lynne Staley, Stuti Grace Christian, and Kenny Muñoz — to share what they’ve learned along the way, including the hard moments, the unexpected sources of strength, and what they wish they had known sooner.

Whether you are a caregiver, a person living with ALS, an advocate, or a professional who supports families, you’ll come away with fresh perspectives and ideas for finding support. Bring your questions and be part of the discussion. You do not have to navigate this journey alone.

The Les Turner ALS Foundation is proud to offer this webinar at no cost to the ALS community. Thank you to Biogen & Shionogi for sponsoring this webinar.

ICYMI: We have two new guides on palliative care and hospice

We’ve added two essential resources to our guide library: ALS & Palliative Care and ALS & Hospice. While both focus on comfort and quality of life, they serve different purposes. Palliative care can begin at any stage—even right after diagnosis—and works alongside your existing ALS care team to manage symptoms and support decision-making. Hospice begins when the focus shifts from slowing progression to living as fully and comfortably as possible in the time you have.

Each guide explains what to expect, how services are covered, and when to start the conversation with your care team. Both are available now in English and Spanish.

Read the ALS & Palliative Care guide and the ALS & Hospice guide here.

Honor your loved one with the Celebration of Life

Our Celebration of Life Memorial Wall is a special place to honor and remember those who have bravely fought ALS. It’s our way of commemorating the love, joy, and impact each person brought into the world—and we invite you to share your own memories, stories, or tributes for your loved one.

This wall is not just for reflection, but for the celebration of lives lived fully, even in the face of ALS. In bereavement, we may also feel the quiet weight of loss—because grief lives where love once stood. It’s okay to hold both the sorrow and the joy as we honor those we miss.

Thank you for being part of our community. Together, we honor and celebrate lives with love, respect, and hope for a future without ALS.
