Les Turner Symposium on ALS Recordings Available

In case you missed any of our virtual 10th Annual Les Turner Symposium on ALS last month, presentation recordings are now available!

We welcomed leading ALS clinicians and researchers from across the country and internationally, including keynote speaker Sabrina Paganoni, MD, PhD, to provide updates on the latest in ALS research and clinical care.

All presentations and the Clinical Conversations panel are available for viewing. Please share these recordings with family, friends or others who may find the information valuable. Watch them here>>

All Bets Were Off at YPG’s Virtual Casino Night

Over 75 guests from six states put it all on the line at our Young ProfessionALS Group’s first-ever virtual All in for ALS Casino Night!

The evening was filled with laughter, inspiration, fun and, most importantly, support for people living with ALS. The event raised over $17,000 (and counting) for our Les Turner ALS family.

Congratulations to Mara Glad, YPG Volunteer of the Year award recipient, for her continued dedication. Casino Night would not have been a success without her and the rest of the Host Committee – Sean Fallon, Laura Kunberger, Becca Braida and Ryan McGarvey. First We Trot, Then We Turkey

The 96-hour World’s Longest Turkey Trot over Thanksgiving weekend was a smashing success!

Eighty runners attempted to run 100 miles each over the long weekend. Together, they raised over $5,500 (and counting), exceeding their initial goal, for our Les Turner ALS family.

Huge thanks to all of the participants and coordinators for keeping this tradition alive in new and safe ways in support of people and families across Chicagoland living with ALS. Read more about the story behind the World’s Longest Turkey Trot>>
