 Walker Spotlight: Diana Pisone
Diana Pisone participated in the Foundation’s first ALS Walk for Life in 2001 in honor of her father, Rich Pisone. Since then, she and Rich’s Rockers have walked every year to raise money for ALS research, awareness, patient care, and advocacy.
When asked her advice to other walkers for fundraising, she said:
“Because I’m a nerd and I like numbers, I like to tie donation requests to a significant number. On the 20th anniversary of my father’s passing, I suggested donations in denominations of $20. I actually received a good amount of $200 donations that year.”
 Reserve Your Accessible Parking Spot
We will be reserving accessible parking spaces in the Waldron garage for people with ALS. Please let us know if you would like to reserve one or more of these spaces by September 8th. There will be first-come-first-serve accessible parking spaces in Waldron Garage in addition to these reserved spaces. Email us to reserve your spot.
Volunteers Needed!
We need your help distributing flyers for the ALS Walk for Life!
Download the flyer to print or email us and we’ll mail you flyers. You can put them up in your community wherever there is a public bulletin board or a window that welcomes postings, like your favorite coffee shop, library, or gym.

All Participants Must Register
Everyone who will be on-site and participating in the Walk, regardless of age, needs to sign up for the event and sign the event waiver. Skip the registration line on event day and sign up your crew online. |
